- Abstract
The article discusses the effect of lignans from the stems and leaves of plant brandisia hancei on vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-induced vascular permeability and migration of dorsal longitudinal anastomotic vessel (DLAV) and human retinal endothelial cells (HRECs) in zebrafish model. Topic discussed include the use of brandisia hancei in traditional Chinese medicine; overexpression of VEGF; phytochemical study of the plant for the isolation of a new lignan glycoside.
