- Abstract
Die Bildung von Wirt ‐ Gast ‐ Komplexen aus Hexafluorophosphat (PF6−) und Tetraisobutyloctahydroxypyridin[4]aren (1) wurde in der Gasphase (ESI ‐ QTOF ‐ MS, IM ‐ MS, DFT ‐ Rechnungen), im Festkörper (Röntgenstrukturanalyse) und in Chloroformlösungen (1H ‐ , 19F ‐ und DOSY ‐ NMR) umfassend untersucht. In allen Aggregatzuständen wurde eine simultane endo ‐ Komplexierung von Lösungsmittelmolekülen und eine exo ‐ Komplexierung von PF6− ‐ Anionen mit dem Pyridin[4]aren ‐ Dimer beobachtet. Während ähnliche ternäre Komplexe im Festkörper bereits öfter beschrieben wurden, ist ein solches Verhalten in der Gasphase bislang einzigartig und noch nie zuvor beobachtet worden. Drinnen oder draußen? Die Bildung von nicht ‐ kovalenten Komplexen aus Hexafluorophosphat und Tetraisobutyloctahydroxypyridin[4]aren wurde in der Gasphase, im Festkörper und in Lösung untersucht. In allen Aggregatzuständen wurde eine simultane endo ‐ Komplexierung von Lösungsmittelmolekülen und eine exo ‐ Komplexierung des PF6− ‐ Anions mit dem Pyridin[4]aren ‐ Dimer beobachtet.
