- Abstract
The article compares the achievement on a test of gardening practices between students who have had summer gardens, those who have had none and between students who have had only the classroom preparation but not the summer follow-up. Several phases of the school gardening program include preplanting, laboratory or gardening and outdoor laboratory. According to the article, the test of gardening practices was based on the content of teachers' guides, student notebooks, workbooks, lectures and demonstrations. The article provides the statistical differences in test achievement of students.
