- Abstract
This article aims to reflect on the motivation for learning of autistic children in a regular elementary school classroom. It also presents the brief foundations built by authors such as Paulo Freire (1987), Alves (1959), Bleuler (1911), the representation in the first story and the current construction of pedagogical accommodation, education and inclusion. It integrates and liberates teaching practice with a focus on the motivation that drives children to want to learn. According to Triviños (1987), we used semi-structured interviews as a method of data collection. According to Minayo (2011), the research methodology is qualitative in nature. It should be noted that the results show that motivation is a determining factor in the learning of autistic children.
