- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a patient with a mandibular distal extension partial denture. It also discusses the construction of a bilateral distally extended and magnetically retained partial denture utilizing cobalt-samarium magnets as the sole means of retention. The patient's canines and premolars on each side of arch were splinted with crowns and a precision attachment was present. It evaluates the patient's tissue extension, abutting crowns and retention of partial denture.
