- Abstract
The article presents case studies of a young woman and man who suffered loss of supporting bone associated with canine teeth involved in the line of fracture of the mandible. A deep mesial infrabony pocket linked to a canine was radiographically confirmed in the case of the woman eight years after her mandible was fractured. The man suffered maxillo-facial injuries in a traffic accident. His alveolar fracture was stabilized using an interdental wire splint.
