- Abstract
The article presents information about the deviation of teeth from their normal position. Single tooth deviations cannot be determined until the dental arch measurement has been done and the measuring plate has been removed. Rotation of teeth refers to their rotation about an imaginary longitudinal axis. Eccentric rotation of the left lateral incisor around the distal labial edge of the dental arch can be seen from the side. The rotation of a tooth about a transverse axis is called inclination. In a complete dentition with no spaces, inclination can only be present vestibularly or orally.
