- Abstract
The article presents a guide to building the perfect wall. The wall must keep outdoor elements like rain, air, vapor and heat out and protect the controlled climate within. Walls consist in four main control layers, the rain control, the air control, the vapor control, and the thermal control layers. The article presents an anatomy of the best walls and wall construction techniques. Among the different types of walls and construction discussed are the institutional wall, the commercial wall, and the residential wall.
