The article focuses on the disparities in special education for low-income children with disabilities in the U.S. and role of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in addressing the same. Topics discussed include Fry v. Napoleon Community Schools and Endrew F. v. Douglas County School District RE-1 court cases on the same; role of lower courts in addressing the same; and relief for denial of a free appropriate public education.
