- Abstract
The article discusses a study which aimed at quantifying the color change of the curtain dress worn by the character of Scarlett O'Hara in the 1939 movie "Gone With the Wind." The study used colorimetry and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) Gray Scale to examine the color change in different areas of the bodice and the skirt. Results showed four different colors distributed over the bodice and four different colors classified in the skirt.
