- Abstract
The article explores the possibility of placing disclaimers in science textbooks. A brief review of introductory science textbooks supports the need for scientifically accurate disclaimers written by societies dedicated to the study of science and science education. This article advocates the use of this valuable tool to provide a matter-of-fact endorsement of the nature of science by all of the parties engaged in the education students and at the same time, making all knowledge up-to-date by emphasizing that the explanations came from current theories.
