- Abstract
This article discusses the functional rehabilitation paradigm that is the basic goal of rehabilitation programs and the equipment used in such programs. Rehabilitation plans are intended for the athlete's complete recovery and are also intended to prevent similar and other injuries from occurring. Jump training programs to prevent knee injuries and balance programs to prevent ankle injuries are examples of functional rehabilitation.
