- Abstract
The article presents a study which provided the concept for integrating biotechnology into high school science curriculum planning. Noted is the identification of eight main areas needed for a taxonomic structure of high school biotechnology curricula on topics including biochemistry, medicine, and environmental science. Highlighted is the opportunity among students to practice biotechnology if recommendations for science and engineering content are observed.
