The patients were placed in two groups of experiment (10 patients) and control (10 people); in terms of design, the present study was a semi-experimental research with pre-test and post-test and a control group. Choice theory-oriented group therapy was the independent variable which was arranged in eight sessions and taught to the experimental group. The dependent variable of self-esteem and quality of life in multiple sclerosis patients were evaluated using the Cooperative Self-Esteem Questionnaire and the quality of life of the World Health Organization. Descriptive statistics, standard deviation and inferential statistics of the multivariate co-variance analysis model were applied to analyze the collected data using SPSS.
