- Abstract
This article deals with the pedagogical experience Promotion of Human Rights through research, carried out in the social sciences area and its technologies, in the Dante Alighieri School with the objective of promoting human rights with a more comprehensive perspective, from the carrying out of the memory to committed action in Asunción downtown. The projects undertaken in the classroom were organized around several problems related to human rights: health, equality and non-discrimination, freedom, the identity of people, children and teenagers. The research was descriptive, with a qualitative approach and a non-experimental design. The techniques used are documentary analysis, surveys and interviews with their respective instruments: guide analysis, questionnaires and interview guide. The research carried out describe the vulnerability of the social sections studied in regard to the right to health, equality and non-discrimination, freedom, the identity of people, children and teenagers. The experience responds to a socio-constructivist approach, with the problems that emanate from the national reality and the need to promote human rights. The methodology used in the classroom is based on learning by projects. This allowed acquiring and applying tools of social research to generate knowledge building spaces and prospective view, committed to society through the development of proposals and recommendations aimed to the solution of problematic situations around human rights.
