- Title
ON BUDDHISTIC ONTOLOGY: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF MOU ZONGSAN AND KYOTO SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY.
- Authors
Asakura, Tomomi
- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the interpretation of philosopher Mou Zongsan's idea of Buddhistic ontology and how the notion is different from his own previous metaphysical scheme. It mentions that Kyoto School philosophers made attempts to resolve the Kantian antinomy of practical reason. It defines the idea of Buddhism-inspired ontology as a radical criticism against Kantian philosophy.
