- Abstract
The article discusses Woolley v. Watkins, a test case brought by the Latter-day Saints in an attempt to invalidate the Idaho Test Oath which was passed in 1884. Topics discussed include the legal and political developments in Idaho, the criminalization of bigamy, polygamy, and unlawful cohabitation in Idaho, and how previous attempts to combat the test oath by 1888 were mismanaged.
