- Abstract
In this paper, a color image inpainting problem is modeled as a low rank quaternion matrix optimization problem. A color image has smooth property inherently and all imaginary parts of the corresponding pure quaternion matrix are nonnegative. Based on these characteristics, we introduce a novel regularized model and then propose a low rank quaternion matrix factorization algorithm with the convergence analysis. Numerical experiments demonstrate the efficiency of our proposed algorithm.
