- Abstract
In this paper, we characterize three-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifolds of type (α , β) admitting *- η -Ricci-solitons and gradient almost *- η -Ricci-solitons. First, we prove that a trans-Sasakian three-manifold of type (α , β) admitting a *- η -Ricci soliton reduces to a β -Kenmostu manifold, provided potential vector field V is Jacobi along a geodesic of ξ. Next, we show that the trans-Sasakian metric as a gradient almost *- η -Ricci soliton is either flat o r *- η -Einstein o r a β -Kenmotsu manifold.
