- Abstract
It has been the characteristic of Urdu literary, linguistic and rhetoric history that there has been deep contemplation over all these terms. The literary experst like shaikh Ahmed Gujarti, Mulla Wajhee, Mir Abdul Wasai Hanswi, Khan-e-Arzoo, Shah Hatim, Sayyed Insha, Moalana Baqir Aagah, Ahad Ali Khan Yakta, Imam Bakhsh Nasikh, Imam Bakhsh Sahbai have worked over these topics. In this way there has been made a strict tradition in Urdu literature regarding language, vhetoric, rhyme, prosody Byan and Badee. In this regard Allama Sayyed Ali Mohammad Shaad's book "Fikr-e-Baleegh" is a great refrence This book was published for the first and last time in near about 1920. This book is an examplary model of its age and its prose style. In this book there is a great debate over Urdu language history, rhetoics, Byaan, Badee, difinition of verse, Arifana Kalam and Gair Arifana Kalam, kind of verse and Mahasan and Mayaib-a-Kalam. One century ago, when there were no such great references over language contrversies at that time to lalk over such serious matters on such a logical and serious way was remarkable. In this regard this book can be regarded as a great reference.
