DEMOCRACIA EM PERIGO.

- Abstract
At the beginning of our century, a realization was necessary: democracy was triumphing in the world. The Soviet authoritarian empire had collapsed and only a few authoritarian countries remained in the Middle East or the Far East. After twenty years, this diagnosis is no longer valid. We see more and more countries ruled by authoritarian leaders, whether in Europe or on other continents. This evolution is the result of several complex factors, however, there are several authors and politologists, who refer only to psychiatric nosology to try to explain the rise of authoritarian regimes, even paranoid. The purpose of this text is to show the uselessness of this issue and to offer some elements to try to explain this decline of democracy in the world.
