- Abstract
This article discusses research into the usability of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Medicare.gov Web site for access to health care among older people. Participants in this study were asked to determine their eligibility for home health care services, select a home health agency, and make decisions relating to Medicare part D, which provides prescription drug benefits. The results of the study indicate that the majority of participants could not utilize the Web site to complete the tasks mentioned above.
