- Authors

- Abstract
This article reports on the meeting of the International Conference on Myasthenia Gravis and Related Disorders and papers presented at the conference on the treatment of myasthenia gravis. Scientists are designing treatments that dampen autoreactivity without affecting general immunity. Dendritic cells are the focus of a variety of studies. Other research is being aimed at the neuromuscular junction through the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase. Suppression of myasthenia gravis may also be achieved through treatment with acetylcholine receptor fragments.
