- Abstract
The JAMA Patient Page focuses on women's health. Women are more apt to have "silent" heart attacks than men and more likely to experience depression and osteoarthritis. The special concerns for women are prenatal care, obesity, and heart disease. Suggestions for good health include taking time to improve one's health with exercise and a balanced diet, as well as following cancer prevention guidelines. The Web addresses for the National Women's Health Information Center, American Heart Association, and American Cancer Society are given.
