The article presents a definition of "transnational capital." It refers to a capital that does not possess a national identity. Topics discussed include the drastic increase in the migration of capital from the beginning of the 1990s, the mechanism by which a foreign capital attain a transnational status, and the ways that the transnational capital returns to the parent countries.
