The article describes the case of an HIV serodiscordant couple who received treatment for infertility. The 28-year-old woman had been in a stable relationship with an HIV-positive man and they only had protected intercourse using male condoms. Intrauterine injections in the woman's natural cycle were performed and she also reported self-insemination with a sperm cap which eventually led to pregnancy.
