- Abstract
The article focuses on the hacking of U.S. Democratic National Committee e-mails during the 2016 election campaign and three models of decision making discussed in the work "The Essence of Decisions" by Graham Allison. It states the U.S. Intelligence Community has concluded the hacking was done by Russia along with varied reactions from Democrats and Republicans. It examines social factors in the controversy and views them through Organizational, Political, and Rational Bargaining explanations.
