- Abstract
The article presents a note regarding the history of environmental regulation as it applies to agricultural production. It depicts the evolution of statutory law which includes the Clean Air Act; Clean Water Act; Safe Drinking Water Act; and Federal Insecticide. It discusses the shortcomings in both common law and command-and-control regulations and explicate why these approaches fail to regulate agricultural production. This note also focuses on how agreements should be negotiated between farmers and community groups. It argues
