- Abstract
A literary criticism is presented on several works of Modern Hebrew Literature, including the poem "Betulat ha’ashadot" by Ephraim E. Lisitzky, the book "Eesra'el (IsraIsland)," by Nava Semel and the poem "Al ḥof Niagra/On Niagara's shore’’ by Lisitzky. Particular focus is given to the depiction of primitivism in Modern Hebrew Literature, including in regard to the portrayal of power and Niagara Falls, New York and Ontario.
