- Abstract
The article traces the use of international law within the domestic legal framework of Indian courts. Topics include the position of the Indian Constitution on international law, the obligations of the legislature and the judiciary when implementing international law, examples of attempts of the Supreme Court of India to analyze and derive precedent and legal theory from international law treaties and customs, and critiques of the unclear methodology used by the judiciary.
