- Authors
Krois, Alexander S.
- Abstract
The article examines how patent venue has continued to evolve in the aftermath of the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case TC Heartland LLC v. Kraft Foods Group Brands LLC which dramatically restricted where plaintiffs can bring patent infringement suits. It mentions how both the Federal Circuit and litigants have reacted to the decision, and uses quantitative analysis to map the changes in the landscape of patent venue through the end of 2018.
