- Abstract
The article reports that U.S. Representative Nydia Velazquez has introduced on July 27, 2007 in the U.S. Congress a temporary extension of programs under the Small Business Act of 1953 and the Small Business Investment Act of 1958 through December 15, 2007. Velazquez's bill temporarily extends authority for small business programs that expired on July 31, 2007. Some programs under the Small Business Act are provision of guarantees for small business loans and financing of small business trainings.
