- Abstract
The article focuses on the Greek word auaqravw, its development and semantics. It discusses the Benary etymology of the word auaqravw, which accordingly originated from the early period of Indo-European linguistics. It explores the problem of the Bernary etymology on the word auaqravw, such as its semantic match, and the implication of t-extension *(s)mer-t-. It also mentions the assumption that the word auaqravw was derived from a verbal adjective *a-huaq-ro-. It also adds the formation of the word auaqravw with the pattern of verbal root>verbal noun, or adjective>denominative.
