- Abstract
The article focuses on the introduction and development of the Show Me Framework for providing assessment of visual literacy. It introduces a theoretical overview of the concepts on multiliteracies using a visual image focus. The purpose of the framework is to apply and test a variety of techniques to determine the concepts and metalanguage used by the students. It is mentioned that the Show Me principle provides guidance to teachers and curriculum developers in designing assessment items and learning activities which helps as the basis for the teacher's judgement.
