- Abstract
The article discusses a study aimed at improving customer service being performed by the Houston Airport System (HAS) in the George Bush Intercontinental, William P. Hobby and Ellington Airports in Texas. HAS used existing surveillance cameras and installed bluetooth antennas with sensors to track the transit time of people carrying bluetooth-enabled devices from one point to another using their media access control (MAC) addresses. The study would reveal where passengers go after security check or what are the causes of customer delays in the airports.
