- Abstract
This research is a descriptive and analytical study, in order to determine the extent to which the Jordanian legislator adheres to the principle of legality on the one hand and the impunity of criminals from punishment on the other hand, and reviewed the most important controls of legal adaptation, including the rule of adherence to specific jurisdiction, and the right of defense, explaining the position of the Jordanian legislator from these controls and judicial applications related to. The study concluded that the Jordanian legislator in the Code of Criminal Procedure did not provide for the warning of the complainant when the description of the charge is changed, but provided that the case be adjourned for an appropriate period so that the complainant can present evidence that denies the new charge against him. That the complainant is explicitly alerted when the description of the charge is changed.
