- Abstract
Key Takeaways: With increasing pressure on water reliability in Washington's South Puget Sound, helping aquatic species thrive also helps community water resilience—a whale of an idea. Better strategic problem‐solving starts with the transformative idea that is it is not mutually exclusive to ensure water supplies for people and for natural settings. By seeking to gain bipartisan support, financial and permitting hurdles of a complex problem can be overcome to create a win–win for all.
