- Abstract
The article discusses a clinical study which examined the influence of retinal adaptation on oscillatory potential (OP) using repeated-flash electroretinography. The patients were presented with four flashes of white light from a light-emitting diode built into a contact lens at dark adaptation (DA) and then at light adaptation (LA). Results showed a decline in amplitudes of OP1 and OP4 with subsequent flashes, and increase in amplitudes of OP2 after the second flash. Amplitudes of OP3 and OP4 after LA were smaller than after DA.
