- Abstract
This letter, published in the journal Neurological Sciences, describes a case of corpus callosum bilateral infarction in a patient with Sneddon syndrome. The patient, a 59-year-old man, presented with left hemiparesis and a history of behavioral changes and cognitive decline. Imaging revealed acute ischemic areas in the corpus callosum, along with chronic infarcts in multiple vascular territories. The patient was ultimately diagnosed with Sneddon syndrome based on skin biopsy results and the presence of livedo racemosa. The letter highlights the importance of considering Sneddon syndrome as a potential cause of callosal infarction and suggests that a single antiplatelet regimen may be the preferred treatment for aPL-negative patients.
