The article offers the author's insights on how the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) and National Emergency Nurses Affiliation (NENA) members have brought forensic nursing to Yukon. She discusses the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) Nurse Examiner Adult/Adolescent Core Education: Theoretical Aspects course, the first in Yukon. She describes how her meeting with nurse Deborah Crosby at the 2011 IAFN Scientific Assembly in Montreal, Quebec led to the course.
