- Abstract
The article outlines the negotiation of Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) without the protests accompanying Protect IP Act and Stop Online Piracy Act in the U.S. It traces the failure of the implementation of ACTA. It notes ACTA's proposal to address matters neglected from the Trade Related aspects of Intellectual Property Rights Agreement border control provisions. The post negotiation development of the treaty is also discussed.
