- Abstract
The article evaluates the influence of Leading from the Middle, a National College for School Leadership Program, on middle leader's self-perceptions of leadership skills in Nottingham, England. The study shows that middle leaders' perceived that their confidence as leaders had grown considerably as a result of undertaking the program. The leaders were also able to reflect on their role more effectively. In addition, the leaders also saw changes in their teams' behavior.
