- Abstract
The article focuses on the assessment of the right subclavian artery (RSA) through fetal echocardiography and the association of its abnormalities to chromosomal abnormality. It states that an aberrant origin of the right subclavian artery (ARSA) is a common abnormality in the aortic arch. It mentions that ARSA is more common among fetuses with chromosomal defects. Furthermore, the presence of ARSA is associated to the increasing incidence of intracardiac malformations.
