- Abstract
The article presents the study on the role of stress hormones in activating epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cell. Topics include the association between beta2-adrenergic receptors (beta2-ARs) and tumor growth, the role of interleukin-6 (IL-6) on EGFR TKI outcome, and the result which provide evidences on the role of chronic stress hormones in promoting EGFR TKI resistance.
