- Abstract
This article describes the evolution process of a child who has been diagnosed with a serious mental health disorder, in a situation of economic need, providing some additional insights. It addresses the history of the therapeutic process with the family and some of its key milestones; it also addresses the relationship with the referral agency - a center specialized in children with Generalized Developmental Disorders. Finally, it offers some thoughts on the relevance of the social and institutional contexts, in the development of the case.
