The article focuses on the defensive behavior of Boana semilineata, an amphibian species found in the coastal region of Brazil. The first record of the species displaying limb interweaving behavior is reported, which is associated with mimicking injury, facilitating secretion dissemination, and disrupting the animal's shape for camouflage or prey defense.
