- Abstract
The article describes observations of the behavior of two sub-adult Phrynosoma cornutum or Texas Horned Lizard that were located at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden on October 19, 2021. The researchers used a RECCO radar-emitting detector and harmonic radar diodes to track the brumation of the two lizards in the wild post-reintroduction. The study suggests the influence of human care in the brumation behavior of the species upon release in the wild.
