- Abstract
The article presents a study on the surgery of atresia ani in a three-day-old cow calf. It says that the calf was found to have no anal opening and that there was soft subcutaneous inflammation below the ischial arch with distension of abdomen. It discusses the surgical management and treatment on the intestinal atresia of the calf. The result of the study, which reveals that the calf showed marked improvement in defecation and general behavior within 3rd day of surgery, is also presented.
