- Abstract
The article discusses a study which evaluated the antifoaming performance of polysiloxane modified with polyethers and fluoroalkyls (HPS-P-F). The researchers analyzed the possible reason for antifoam exhaust by comparing the change of surface tension of foaming liquid between initially added with modified polysiloxane and after testing antifoaming performance. Findings suggest that one possible reason for antifoam exhausting is that the surface tension of foaming liquid becomes bigger.
