- Abstract
The article presents the author's insights on the interpretation of the human landscape of Glacier National Park (GNP) which was established in 1910. Topics discussed include the comparison of the GNP to the Alps by park developers and proponents, the challenge accepted by Blackfeet in conveying the park visitors with cultural and historical knowledge, and the calls for the National Park Service (NPS).
